To the Lord Mayor, Newcastle Councillors and Newcastle Planners,
We are submitting this petition in addition to our recent letter following the Lord Mayors visit to our suburb. The Wickham community is very thankful that the Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor, and councillors Church and Mackenzie, took the time to walk around our suburb and listen to representatives of our community.
This petition is calling on the Newcastle Council to:

Extend the Village Hub in the Masterplan to include the remaining stretch of Bishopsgate street.

Consider the local heritage listing of a number of historic properties in our suburb.

Change the planning permission as to permit the building of new single residential dwellings on small land Lots, that improve the structure for Wickham Village.

Reconsider the plans for LOT 41- 47 Throsby Street. We believe that this building should not be approved for an increase in height due to recent Mine Subsidence investigations

Address the range of safety and amenity issues associated with footpaths including addressing dangerous sections of sand and a lack of pram ramps.
